Keyboard Function Check No. 5

  1. Using Gauge System Tester (Rotunda 021-00055), connect one lead of tester to Red/Yellow wire at instrument cluster 14-pin connector.
  2. Instrument cluster 14-pin connector is located behind instrument cluster, near steering column. See INSTRUMENT CLUSTER 14-PIN TERMINAL IDENTIFICATION illustration.
  3. Slowly adjust resistance from 0-1000 ohms and back to 0. Check to see that "M/KM", "T/ODO", "T/SET" and "SERV OFF" functions are working.
  4. If some or no functions are working, replace gauges. If all functions are working, repair Red/Yellow wire between gauges and keyboard.
NOTE: Oil pressure gauge testing is not available from manufacture.
