Keyboard Function Check No. 2

  1. Using Gauge System Tester (Rotunda 021-00055), connect one lead of tester to Yellow/RED wire at instrument keyboard 10-pin connector and other lead to ground.
  2. Instrument keyboard 10-pin connector is located behind trip computer keyboard. See ELECTRONIC INSTRUMENT KEYBOARD TERMINAL IDENTIFICATION illustration.
  3. Slowly adjust resistance from 0-1000 ohms and back to 0 again. Check to see if "ALARM", "SET UP", "SET DOWN" or "DIM OFF" functions are working. If no functions are working, go to KEYBOARD FUNCTION CHECK NO. 3.
  4. If all functions are working, replace keyboard. If only some functions are working, replace gauges.
