Control Assembly: Probe

  1. Ground Black wire at rear window defroster switch connector. See Figure . If indicator light comes on, repair Black wire between rear window defroster switch and ground. If not, go to next step.
  2. Connect voltmeter to Black/Yellow wire and ground of rear window defroster connector. If 12 volts are present, replace defroster switch. If not, repair Black/Yellow wire between rear window defroster switch and fuse panel.
