Wiper Motor Current Draw
- Disconnect negative battery cable. Disconnect linkage from motor. Disconnect wiper connector for on-vehicle testing. Connect negative lead from ammeter to battery positive post.
- Connect positive lead to low speed connection and then to high speed connection at connector plug. See Fig 1 . Motor current draw should not exceed 3 amps.
