Instrument Cluster: Notes
NOTE:
In some cases, it may be necessary to remove speedometer cable at the transmission, pulling cable through cowl. Removal & Installation (Aerostar)
- Disconnect battery negative cable. Remove 7 screws attaching cluster housing to cluster. Remove cluster housing. Remove 4 screws attaching cluster to instrument panel. Disconnect wiring harness connectors from rear of cluster. Disconnect speedometer cable.
- Before installation, apply a 3/16" ball of silicon lubricant to drive hole of speedometer head. To complete installation, reverse removal procedure. Check operation of all gauges, lights and signals.
