EEC IV QUICK TEST - 2.5L - SERVICE CODE "13" STORED IN KEEP ALIVE MEMORY (KAM)

ISSUE
A higher than normal engine idle or lower than normal engine idle may cause the EEC IV processor to store a service code "13" in KAM.
ACTION
After servicing these concerns, clear the KAM (Keep Alive Memory) and allow the vehicle to relearn idle speed.
Retest the EEC IV system to make sure the concern has been corrected.
