Disarming Modes Verification
- Unlock and open a vehicle door. If light blinks, refer to ARMING SEQUENCE VERIFICATION in this article. If alarm sounds, and door key input is okay, go to step 3). If not, try other door key, keyless entry code or disconnect battery to stop alarm and go to step 2).
- Using a voltmeter, check voltage at terminal "H" (circuit No. 25 - Dark Green/Purple wire) of control module. If less than one volt when door key is unlocked, replace control module. If more than one volt, repair door key switch or open in circuit No. 25.
- On models equipped with keyless entry, activate door unlock code and open a vehicle door. If light blinks, go to step 4). If alarm sounds, use key to stop alarm. Repair open in circuit No. 25 or refer to TESTING in KEYLESS ENTRY article in this section. Retest system after repair.
- On all models, open vehicle door and activate electric lock switch. If light glows steadily, disarm modes are verified. If light blinks, go to step 5).
- Check that a momentary battery voltage signal is applied to terminal "M" (circuit No. 118 - Pink/Orange wire) when unlock switch is activated. If it does, replace control module. If not, repair and/or replace circuit No. 118 and retest system.
- Turn ignition key to "ACC" or "RUN" and open vehicle door. If alarm light blinks, disarm modes are verified. If alarm sounds, use door key to stop alarm and go to step 7).
- Check voltage of terminal "K" (circuit No. 296 -White/Purple wire) of control module. If greater than 9 volts with ignition key in "RUN" or "ACC" position, replace control module. If less than 9 volts, repair ignition switch or circuit for open. Retest system.
