Ignition Coil

The ignition coil is energized when the ignition switch is in the "ON" or "START" position. The coil contains a positive "BATT" terminal, a negative "TACH" terminal, and a single secondary terminal.

A special connector attaches the Green wire from the ECM to the negative coil primary terminal ("TACH"). The wire from the ignition switch to the positive coil primary terminal ("BATT") is located on the opposite side of the connector.
