Throttle Position Sensor (TPS)

Nonadjustable TPS is mounted to throttle shaft. TPS supplies voltage output proportional to change in throttle position. TPS is used by computer to determine operation mode (closed throttle, part throttle or wide open throttle) for selection of proper fuel mixture, spark timing and EGR.
