Boost Pressure Indicators

Two manifold pressure switches activate a Green or Red indicator lamp mounted on the instrument panel. During normal turbocharger operation, .7-11.5 psi (.05-.81 kg/cm2 ), the Green indicator lamp will glow.

When the boost pressure exceeds 11.5 psi (.81 kg/cm2 ), the pressure switch will turn off the Green lamp and light the Red lamp. In addition to lighting the Red lamp, the switch will also sound a warning buzzer.
