ACT Input High (Code 54)

  1. Turn ignition off and wait 10 seconds. Disconnect ACT connector. Connect a jumper wire between harness circuits 357 and 359 at ACT connector. Perform Key On - Engine Off Test. Check for code 64. If code 64 is present, replace ACT sensor and repeat Quick Test. If code 64 is not present, proceed with test.
  2. Turn ignition off and wait 10 seconds. Remove jumper wire. Disconnect processor and inspect both 60 pin connectors. Connect breakout box to harness and leave processor disconnected. Measure continuity from circuit 357 to breakout box pin 25 and circuit 359 to breakout box pin 46. If either resistance is 5 ohms or more, repair wiring harness and repeat Quick Test. If both resistances are less than 5 ohms, replace processor and repeat Quick Test.
