Switch Continuity
- Check the continuity between switch terminals. See Fig 1 . Either a self-powered test light or an ohmmeter can be used with standard system. An ohmmeter must be used with interval system.
- To detect marginal operation of the switch, move the switch lever while each reading is taken. If the switch does not exhibit continuity or exhibits poor continuity in any switch position, replace the switch.
