Removal And Installation: Installation

  1. Inspect the Power Transfer Unit (PTU) switch for damage.
  2. Install the PTU switch into the floor console upper trim, making sure the retainer clips are properly engaged.
  3. Install the floor console upper trim. Refer to CONSOLE, FLOOR, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  4. Connect the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), connect the IBS connector to the negative battery cable.
