Removal And Installation: Installation
- Position the steering knuckle (1a) assembly in the vehicle.
- Align the steering knuckle to the front strut and install the strut to knuckle bolts (1b). Tighten the bolts to the proper torque specifications. Refer to FRONT, TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS .
- Check the integrity of the lower ball joint boot closure ring (1).
- Install the lower control arm to the knuckle, and tighten the lower control arm to knuckle nut (1) to the proper torque specifications. Refer to FRONT, TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS .
- Install the wheel speed sensor head into the knuckle. Tighten the wheel speed sensor to knuckle bolt to the proper torque specifications. Refer to FRONT, TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS .
- Position the dust shield to the steering knuckle.
- Install the three dust shield to knuckle bolts and tighten to the proper torque specifications. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
- Install the outer tie rod end to the knuckle. Refer to TIE ROD, STEERING, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- Install the hub and bearing. Refer to HUB AND BEARING, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- Install the tire and wheel assembly. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- Remove the support and lower the vehicle.
