- Using a NEW gasket, install the water pump (2). Tighten the bolts (3) to the proper torque specifications. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
- Install the water inlet tube (4) and gasket onto water pump (1). Tighten the bolts (3) to the proper torque specifications. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
- Install drive belt splash shield.
- Remove the support and lower the vehicle.
- Install the serpentine belt. Refer to BELT, SERPENTINE, INSTALLATION .
- Evacuate air and refill the cooling system. Refer to PUMP, WATER, STANDARD PROCEDURE .
- Check the cooling system for leaks. Refer to DIAGNOSIS AND TESTING .
