Description And Operation
There is one 7 inch Radio/Entertainment Telematics Module (Radio/ETM) available in this vehicle. The Radio/ETM has a distinct chassis design and is identified by a sales code.
The vehicle can be equipped with a 7 inch central display with navigation system. By pairing a Bluetooth® enabled device, such as a smartphone or portable audio device, with the audio unit, it is possible to listen to Bluetooth® audio and internet radio.
In addition to the conventional audio, navigation and satellite radio functions with the 7 inch display, communication tools such as Internet radio, Short Message Service (SMS), Social Networking Service (SNS), and hands free telephone functions can also be managed by connecting a mobile device such as a smartphone or tablet for additional information about this Radio/ETM. Hardwired circuitry connects the Radio/ETM to the electrical system of the vehicle. These hardwired circuits are integral to several wire harnesses, which routes throughout the vehicle and retained by many different methods. These circuits may be connected to each other and to the vehicle electrical system through the use of a combination of soldered splices, splice block connectors, and many different types of wire harness terminal connectors and insulators. Refer to the appropriate wiring information. The wiring information includes wiring diagrams, details of wire harness routing and retention, connector pin-out information and location views for the various wire harness connectors, splices and grounds. The Radio/ETM cannot be adjusted or repaired. If the Radio/ETM is damaged or ineffective, it must be replaced.
