Occupant Restraint Controller: Removal

  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
  2. Fold the seat backs forward.
  3. Remove the rear trim on the center console. Refer to CONSOLE, FLOOR, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  4. Remove the passenger compartment back trim panel. Refer to PANEL, BACK TRIM, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  5. Disconnect the wire harness connectors (1a) and remove the nuts (1b) for the Occupant Restraint Controller (ORC) bracket (1c).
