Module, Park Assist: Removal

  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the rear storage box from the cargo area. Refer to BOX, STORAGE, REAR, REMOVAL .
  3. Remove the scuff plate from the lower liftgate opening sill. Refer to PLATE, SCUFF, LIFTGATE SILL, REMOVAL .

  4. Disconnect the body wire harness connectors (3) from the Park Assist Module (PAM) (1) connector receptacles.
  5. Remove the retainers (2) that secure the PAM (1) to the lower liftgate opening sill reinforcement.
  6. Remove the PAM from the vehicle.
