Module, Body Control (BCM): Installation

  1. Position the Body Control Module (BCM) (1) in the vehicle.
  2. Install the fasteners (4) at the bottom of the module and tighten securely.
  3. Connect the electrical connectors to the BCM receptacles (2 and 3) as needed.

  4. Position the fuse box (2) in the mounting bracket track.
  5. Connect the electrical connectors (4) to the fuse box.
  6. Raise the fuse box assembly up into place, and engage the clip (3).

  7. Install the glove box assembly (1). Refer to GLOVE BOX, INSTRUMENT PANEL, INSTALLATION .
  8. Install the lower hush panel (3) and install the push-pin type retainers.
  9. Connect the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), connect the IBS connector.
NOTE:

Program the BCM in accordance with the module replacement and programming guide. Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE .

Perform the body verification test. Refer to BODY VERIFICATION TEST .
