Module, Body Control (BCM): Installation

- Position the Body Control Module (BCM) (1) in the vehicle.
- Install the fasteners (4) at the bottom of the module and tighten securely.
- Connect the electrical connectors to the BCM receptacles (2 and 3) as needed.
- Position the fuse box (2) in the mounting bracket track.
- Connect the electrical connectors (4) to the fuse box.
- Raise the fuse box assembly up into place, and engage the clip (3).
- Install the glove box assembly (1). Refer to GLOVE BOX, INSTRUMENT PANEL, INSTALLATION .
- Install the lower hush panel (3) and install the push-pin type retainers.
- Connect the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), connect the IBS connector.
NOTE:
Program the BCM in accordance with the module replacement and programming guide. Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE .
Perform the body verification test. Refer to BODY VERIFICATION TEST .
