Removal And Installation

REMOVAL 

1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the engine thermostat. Refer to THERMOSTAT, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

3. Remove the bolt (1a).
4. Remove the camshaft position sensor (1b).

INSTALLATION 

1. Install the camshaft position sensor back in position and tighten the screw to proper torque specifications. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATION .
2. Install the engine thermostat. Refer to THERMOSTAT, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
3. Connect the negative battery cable.
