Negative Cable With IBS

REMOVAL 

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.

2. Remove the coolant reservoir nuts (1a).
3. Lift and reposition aside the coolant reservoir (1b).

4. Remove the screw (1a), disconnect the plate (1b) and remove the battery ground cable (1c) with the Intelligent Battery Sensor (1d).

5. If necessary, remove the nut (1a) and separate the battery ground (1b) from the IBS (1c).

INSTALLATION 

1. If necessary, install the battery ground on the IBS and tighten the nut.
2. Connect the plate and tighten the nut.
3. Position the engine coolant reservoir in to the proper position and tighten the nuts.
4. Connect the negative battery cable.
