Injector(S), Fuel: Installation

Check the condition of the O-rings before installing the injectors. Replace if any damage or abnormal wear is found.

1. Apply a small amount of engine oil to each fuel injector O-ring. This will help with the fuel rail installation.
2. Install the fuel injector(s) (1) into the fuel rail and install the retainer clip(s) (2).
3. Install the fuel rail assembly. Refer to RAIL, FUEL, INSTALLATION .
4. Start the engine and check for leaks.
