Diagnostic Test

  1. CARRY OUT DATA CONFIGURATION 
    1. Go to key-off condition.
    2. at least 1 minute.
    3. at least 3 seconds.
    4. Go to key-on condition (engine off or on).

      DIAG_QUESTION_NOT_AVAILABLE

      Yes 

      • YES_STATEMENT_NOT_AVAILABLE

      No 

      • NO_STATEMENT_NOT_AVAILABLE
  2. CHECK FOR PRESENCE OF ELECTRIC POWER STEERING (EPS) MODULE ERRORS 
    1. Connect the diagnosis equipment and carry out the Electric Power Steering (EPS) Module error deletion procedure.
    2. Check whether the error is still present.

      Is the error still present?

      Yes 

      • Repeat the checks from Step 1.
      • If the error occurs again, Go to  3.

      No 

      • End of diagnosis.
  3. CHECK FOR PRESENCE OF INSTRUMENT PANEL CLUSTER (IPC) ERRORS 
    1. Check for presence of Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) errors.

      Are errors present?

      Yes 

      • Use the Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) diagnosis to resolve, then configure the Panel.

      No 

      • Go to  4.
  4. CHECK THAT THE ELECTRIC POWER STEERING (EPS) MODULE IS WORKING PROPERLY 
    1. Carry out the Electric Power Steering (EPS) Module error deletion procedure.
    2. Check whether the error is still present.

      Is the error still present?

      Yes 

      • Repeat the checks from Step 1.
      • Replace the Electric Power Steering (EPS) Module in accordance with the Service Information. Refer to GEAR, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

      No 

      • End of diagnosis.
