Coil, Ignition: Removal

Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
Remove the engine cover. Refer to COVER, ENGINE, REMOVAL .

Loosen the clamp and disconnect the oil vapor recovery pipe (1) from the cylinder head cover.

Remove the bolt (1) from the engine oil vapor pipe middle support bracket and reposition the vapor pipe.

NOTE:
Number 1 cylinder ignition coil shown in illustration, all others similar.
Unlock and disconnect the electrical connector (1) from the ignition coil.
Remove the ignition coil mounting bolt (2).
Pull the ignition coil (3) from cylinder head cover opening with a slight twisting action.
