Removal And Installation: Installation
- Install the accumulator pistons (1) and compression springs.
- Install the transmission case gaskets and brake drum gaskets (1).
- Install the check valve and compression spring (1).
- Connect the manual valve link (1) to the valve body and position the valve body in place.
- Using the bolt location noted during removal, install the 19 valve body bolts (1) and tighten to the proper Refer to TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS .
- Install the detent spring (2), detent spring cover and detent spring bolt (1) and tighten to the proper Refer to TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS .
- Install the transmission fluid temperature sensor (3), the transmission fluid temperature lock plate (2), the transmission fluid temperature lock plate bolt (1) and tighten to the proper Refer to TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS .
- Connect the solenoid wire harness connectors (1).
- Install a NEW
O-ring (1) on the transmission oil filter.
- Install the transmission oil filter (2), transmission oil filter bolts (2) and tighten to the proper Refer to TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS .
- Install the transmission oil pan gasket, transmission oil pan, transmission oil pan bolts (1) and tighten to the proper Refer to TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS .
- Remove the support and lower the vehicle.
- Fill the transmission with specified fluid Refer to FLUID AND FILTER, STANDARD PROCEDURE .
