System Cable Bundle: Installation

  1. Connect the positive lead to the starter motor.
  2. Connect the power lead (2b) to the starter and install the nut (2a).
  3. Close the flaps (1a) of the wiring protection (1b).

  4. Connect the alternator electrical connection (2).
  5. Connect the electrical connection (1) to the knock sensor.

  6. Connect the electrical connection (1) to the intake air pressure/temperature sensor.

  7. Connect the timing sensor electrical connection (2).
  8. Connect the engine coolant temperature sensor electrical connection (1).

  9. Connect the RPM sensor electrical coupling (2).
  10. Connect the electrical connection (1) to the engine oil temperature sensor.

  11. Install the duct to the valve cover and tighten the bolts (5).
  12. Connect the ground lead on valve cover and tighten the bolt (4).
  13. Connect the electrical connections of the coils (2).
  14. Connect the injector harness coupling (1).
  15. Connect the electrical connections to the Multiair module actuators (3).

  16. Connect the ground lead of the air conditioner compressor and install the bolt (1).

  17. Install the bolt (4a) and nut (4b) of the wiring bracket (4c).
  18. Connect the engine control unit electrical connection (3).
  19. Engage the wiring retaining clips (2).
  20. Connect the electric coupling (1).

  21. Connect the electrical connection (1) to the oil vapor pressure sensor.

  22. Connect the electrical connector (3) to the engine oil pressure warning light switch.
  23. Connect the electrical connection (2) to the overcharging pressure adjustment solenoid valve.
  24. Connect the electrical connection (1) to the overpressure control solenoid valve on the turbocharger.
  25. Install the throttle body. Refer to THROTTLE BODY, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  26. Install the right front wheel. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  27. Install the belly pan. Refer to BELLY PAN, CENTER, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATIONBELLY PAN, ENGINE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATIONBELLY PAN, FRONT, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATIONBELLY PAN, REAR, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATIONBELLY PAN, SIDE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATIONBELLY PAN, TRANSMISSION, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  28. Install the vacuum pump. Refer to PUMP, VACUUM, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  29. Install the cowl panel inner cover. Refer to COVER, COWL PANEL, INNER, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATIONCOVER, COWL PANEL, OUTER, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  30. Install the air cleaner body. Refer to BODY, AIR CLEANER, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  31. Install the engine cover. Refer to COVER, ENGINE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  32. Connect the negative battery cable.
  33. Remove the support and lower the vehicle.
