Pump, Water: Removal: 1.4L

Drain the cooling system. Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE .
Remove the timing belt. Refer to BELT, TIMING, REMOVAL .

Remove the bolt and the inner timing belt cover (1).
Remove the nut (2a) and the three bolts (2b) securing the water pump (2c) to the engine block.

Remove the water pump (2) from the engine block by lightly prying at the upper tab (1) located on the pump assembly.
