Removal And Installation

REMOVAL 

1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the engine cover. Refer to COVER, ENGINE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

3. Unlock and disconnect the electrical connector (1) from the ignition coil.
4. Remove the ignition coil mounting bolt (2a).
5. Remove the ignition coil (2b) from the engine.

INSTALLATION 

1. Seat the ignition coil (1a) and tighten the screw (1b) to the proper specification. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  .
2. Connect the electrical connector (2) to the ignition coils.
3. Install the engine cover. Refer to COVER, ENGINE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
4. Connect the negative battery cable.
