When Monitored

This diagnostic runs continuously when the following conditions are met:
- The Transmission Control Module (TCM) is commanding 2nd gear.
- The Output speed is greater than a calibrated rpm.
- The ignition line voltage is greater than 9.0 Volts.
- The system voltage is within a calibrated operating range (9V-16V).
- The TCM is not operating in a diagnostic service mode.
- The TCM has completed the read operation of its non-volatile memory.
- No CAN Bus-Off faults have been detected.
- No ECM Communication faults have been detected.
- The engine speed is greater than to 400 rpm.
- Ignition status CAN signal from Body Control Module (BCM) is equal to Ignition On or Ignition On Engine Running.
- Shifter position is in D or Autostick.
- No input speed or output speed sensor faults have been detected.
- Automatic transmission fluid temperature is greater than 20 deg C.
- No automatic transmission fluid temperature sensor faults have been detected.
- Engine Coolant Temperature is greater than 40 deg C.
