  3. CHECK TRANSMISSION OUTPUT SPEED SENSOR WIRING
    1. Check for the presence of a short circuit to ground on the wiring of Transmission Output Speed Sensor (PIN D and C of connector A of Transmission Control Module (TCM)).

Is there a short circuit to ground?

      Yes

      • Remove the short circuit to ground on the wiring.
      • Go to Step  7.

      No

      • Go to Step  4.
  4. CHECK TRANSMISSION OUTPUT SPEED SENSOR WIRING
    1. Go to Key-ON condition (engine off)
    2. Measure the voltage on terminals D and C of connector A of Transmission Control Module (TCM)
    3. Ensure that the voltage measured on terminals is 0 volts.

Is the measured voltage 0 volts?

      Yes

      • Go to Step  5.

      No

      • Resolve the short circuit to battery on one of the terminals.
      • Go to Step  7.
  5. CHECK TRANSMISSION OUTPUT SPEED SENSOR WIRING
    1. Go to Key-OFF status.
    2. Disconnect the Transmission Output Speed Sensor connector.
