Removal And Installation: Removal

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to HOISTING, STANDARD PROCEDURE .
  2. Remove the tire and wheel assembly. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

  3. Holding the stabilizer bar link end stationary, remove the mounting nut (1a) and disconnect the stabilizer bar link (1b).

  4. Remove the mounting bolt (1a) securing the strut (1b) to the lower control arm.

  5. Holding the joint stationary, remove the lower control arm (1b) mounting nut (1a) to the knuckle (1c).
  6. Using a suitable tool (2a), remove the lower control arm (1b) from the knuckle (1c).

  7. Remove the mounting nuts (1a) and keep their washers (1b).
  8. Remove the lower control arm (2a) and keep the rear bushing (2b).
