Removal And Installation: Installation
- Position the steering gear (1b) to the front suspension crossmember.
- Install the two steering gear to cradle mounting bolts (1a).
- Tighten steering gear to cradle mounting bolts (1a) to the proper specification. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS

- Connect both outer tie rod ends (1b) to the steering knuckle (1c).
- Install both tie rod end mounting nuts (1b) and tighten to the proper specification. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
- Insert both split pins (1a).
- Connect the two wire harness connectors (1) to the Electric Power Steering (EPS) steering gear.
- Install the front additional half wheel arches mounts (1b) then install the two mounting bolts (1a) and tighten to the proper specification. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS

- Position the steering shaft (1b) onto the steering input shaft (2b).
- Install the lower steering shaft pinch bolt (2a) and tighten to the proper specification. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS

- Position the return rigid pipe (1b) for the engine coolant from the radiator. Refer to COOLER AND HOSES, CHARGE AIR, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- Install the mounting bolt (1a) securing the return rigid pipe (1b) for the engine coolant from the radiator and tighten to the proper specification. Refer to TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS .
- Install the engine belly pan. Refer to BELLY PAN, ENGINE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- Install the front belly pan. Refer to BELLY PAN, FRONT, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- Install the both front wheelhouse splash shields. Refer to SHIELD, SPLASH, FRONT WHEELHOUSE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- Install the front tires. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- Install the battery tray. Refer to TRAY, BATTERY, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- Install the supports and lower the vehicle.
