Removal And Installation: Removal

Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.
Remove the lower right instrument panel trim. Refer to PANEL, INSTRUMENT PANEL TRIM, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

Using trim stick C-4755 or equivalent, remove the center trim bezel (1b) from the instrument panel.

Disconnect the wiring harness connector (1).

Remove the screw (1a) for the radio assembly (1b).

Pull out the radio assembly from the instrument panel (1a), releasing the retaining clips (1b) of the display trim.
Disconnect the wiring harness connectors (2a) and remove the radio assembly (1a).
If required, remove the radio display from the Radio/Entertainment Telematics Module (ETM). Refer to DISPLAY, RADIO, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
