Removal And Installation: Installation

NOTE:

FOLLOW ALL THE RECOMMENDED SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS. Refer to WARNING .

  1. Position the PAB (1a) in the instrument panel trim panel and engage the retainers (1b) on both the containment walls. Check that all the retainers (1b) are correctly engaged.

  2. Install the nuts (2a) and screws (2b) for the PAB brackets. Tighten the nuts and screws to the proper specification. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  .
  3. Connect the wire harness connectors (1a, 1b) to the PAB (1c).
  4. Install the headlamp leveling module. Refer to MODULE, HEADLAMP LEVELING, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  5. Install the right air outlet. Refer to RIGHT .
  6. Install the instrument panel trim panel. Refer to PANEL, INSTRUMENT PANEL TRIM, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  7. Install the upper windshield trim.
  8. Install the A-pillar trim panels. Refer to PANEL, A-PILLAR TRIM, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  9. Install the side cowl trim panels. Refer to PANEL, COWL TRIM, SIDE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  10. Install the door sill scuff plates. Refer to PLATE, SCUFF, DOOR, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  11. Connect the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), connect the IBS connector.
  12. Connect the scan tool and check that there are no Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC) in the system.
