Resolver Relearn Procedure

  1. Position the Vehicle on a hoist, and raise the Vehicle until the front tires are approximately 30 cm. (12 in.) from the ground.
  2. Connect the scan tool to the diagnostics connector. The diagnostic connector is located under the lower steering column cover to the left of the steering column.
  3. Enter the vehicle and make sure the vehicle doors are closed to prevent the Automatic Shift to Park function from engaging during the test.
  4. Switch the Ignition to READY mode.
  5. Turn off the Electronic Stability Control (ESC) button on the instrument panel.
  6. Carry out the Resolver Relearn Procedure by following the step-by-step instructions on the scan tool.
