Diagnostic Test

ECT DTC PRESENT IN THE POWERTRAIN CONTROL MODULE (PCM)
1. This is an informational DTC indicating that an ETC DTC(s) is stored in the Powertrain Control Module.
2. Erase this DTC from the TCM after all Engine DTC(s) have been repaired.
3. Using a scan tool, read the Powertrain Controller DTCs and perform the appropriate diagnostic procedure. Refer to DIAGNOSTIC CODE INDEX .
