Exhaust System: Description: Description
The exhaust system on the 1.4L engine models consists of a front mounted catalytic converter/maniverter, resonator/pipe assembly (3), muffler/pipe assembly (2), band clamp, and support isolators (1). The upstream oxygen sensor is located in the exhaust manifold. The downstream oxygen sensor is located in the catalytic converter.
Resonators, mufflers, and exhaust pipes are tuned to each powertrain combination.
