Removal & Installation

- Knock sensor is located on side of cylinder block, below intake manifold. Knock sensor contains a 2-pin Gray connector with White and Black/White wires in the connector.
- Disconnect connector for knock sensor. Remove lower intake manifold brace from intake manifold for access to knock sensor. Unscrew knock sensor from cylinder block.
- To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten knock sensor and lower intake manifold brace bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
