Fuel Rail & Injectors: Installation

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 1997 Eagle Talon. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. To install, reverse removal procedure using NEW grommets, insulators and "O" rings. Apply light coat of engine oil on all "O" rings and grommets before installing. DO NOT allow engine oil to enter fuel rail.
  2. Ensure injector and pressure regulator rotate smoothly once installed in fuel rail. If injector or fuel pressure regulator does not rotate smoothly, check for improperly installed or damaged "O" ring. Tighten all bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
