Removal & Installation

  1. Raise window to full-up position, if possible. Remove door trim panel. See DOOR TRIM PANEL  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Secure window in up position.
  2. Remove window regulator. See POWER WINDOW REGULATOR  . Using a "C" clamp, clamp sector gear to regulator mounting plate to prevent regulator movement. See Fig 1 .
  3. Disconnect window motor connector. Remove motor from regulator. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten motor mounting screws to 50-70 INCH lbs. (5.6-8.0 N.m). Adjust window alignment, if necessary. See ADJUSTMENTS  .
