Shift Cable: Talon

  1. Apply parking brake. Place shift lever in Neutral. Loosen nut on shift cable at manual control lever. Manual control lever is the lever on transaxle that shift cable is installed on.
  2. Place manual control lever in Neutral. Lightly pull end of shift cable toward manual control lever and tighten nut on shift cable. If shift cable is properly adjusted, engine should only start with shift lever in Park and Neutral.
