Removal & Installation: CLOCKSPRING: Installation

1. To install, reverse removal procedure. Reference marks on clockspring must be aligned on clockspring to provide full rotation of steering wheel.
2. Rotate clockspring fully clockwise and then counterclockwise3 1/8 turns so reference marks on clockspring are aligned before installing steering wheel. See Figure.
3. Reinstall steering wheel and air bag module using proper procedure. See STEERING WHEEL & AIR BAG MODULE  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Activate air bag system. See DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM .
