Interior Light Test 7A - Key-In Light Is On Constantly

NOTE:
Perform INTERIOR LIGHT TEST 1A before proceeding with this test. For connector terminal identification and wiring diagrams, see CONNECTOR IDENTIFICATION in appropriate BODY CONTROL COMPUTER section in this article. For wiring diagrams, see WIRING DIAGRAMS at the end of article. Perform TEST VER-1A after each repair.
CAUTION:
Always turn ignition switch to OFF position prior to disconnecting or connecting any module connector.
Turn ignition off. Disconnect instrument panel 10-pin connector at BCM. Ensure connector is clean and not damaged. See Figure in CHIME TEST 3A. If key-in light goes off, replace BCM. If key-in light does not go off, repair short to ground in Yellow/Red wire.
