Test No. 5

  1. Disconnect Hydraulic Control Unit (HCU) connector. Using a voltmeter, check for voltage between ground and HCU wiring harness connector terminal No. 8. See Fig 1 . If battery voltage exists, replace HCU. If battery voltage does not exist, go to next step.
  2. Inspect connectors between HCU and instrument cluster. Clean or repair as necessary. Verify if original problem still exists. If problem still exists, check Green/Red wire between HCU and instrument cluster. Repair as necessary.
