Test 66A - Open Right Door Ajar Circuit

IDENTIFICATION. For wiring diagram, see WIRING DIAGRAMS
. Perform TEST VER-1 after each repair.
CAUTION:
Always turn ignition switch to OFF position prior to disconnecting or connecting any module connector.
- Disconnect right front door ajar switch connector. Check condition of connector and clean or repair connector as necessary. Connect jumper wire between right door ajar switch connector Tan/Red wire and ground. If DRB displays RF DOOR AJAR : CLOSED, replace right door ajar switch. If DRB does not display RF DOOR AJAR : CLOSED, go to next step.
- Disconnect jumper wire. Gain access to Body Control Module (BCM), located behind right kick panel. Connect jumper wire between BCM Black connector terminal No. 2 (Tan/Red wire) and ground. If DRB displays RF DOOR AJAR : CLOSED, repair open in Tan/Red wire between BCM connector and right door ajar switch connector. If DRB does not display RF DOOR AJAR : CLOSED, replace BCM.
