Test 66A - Open Right Door Ajar Circuit

NOTE: For connector terminal identification, see CONNECTOR  IDENTIFICATION. For wiring diagram, see WIRING DIAGRAMS  . Perform TEST VER-1 after each repair.
CAUTION: Always turn ignition switch to OFF position prior to disconnecting or connecting any module connector.
  1. Disconnect right front door ajar switch connector. Check condition of connector and clean or repair connector as necessary. Connect jumper wire between right door ajar switch connector Tan/Red wire and ground. If DRB displays RF DOOR AJAR : CLOSED, replace right door ajar switch. If DRB does not display RF DOOR AJAR : CLOSED, go to next step.
  2. Disconnect jumper wire. Gain access to Body Control Module (BCM), located behind right kick panel. Connect jumper wire between BCM Black connector terminal No. 2 (Tan/Red wire) and ground. If DRB displays RF DOOR AJAR : CLOSED, repair open in Tan/Red wire between BCM connector and right door ajar switch connector. If DRB does not display RF DOOR AJAR : CLOSED, replace BCM.
