Removal (2.2L Turbo)

  1. Crankshaft position sensor is located in transaxle housing. Remove throttle body. See THROTTLE BODY under FUEL SYSTEM. Remove intercooler to turbocharger air hose.
  2. Disconnect crankshaft position sensor pick-up lead at wiring harness connector. Remove crankshaft position sensor bolt. Pull crankshaft position sensor straight up and out of transaxle housing.
