Monaco & Premier

  1. Remove lower instrument panel cover below steering column. Above left side of lower steering column, locate White 15-pin connector with a Black 7-pin connector plugged into it. Using voltmeter, backprobe Black wire and check for battery voltage.
  2. If battery voltage does not exist on Black wire, repair or replace appropriate fusible link. See WIRING DIAGRAMS  . If battery voltage exists on Black wire, backprobe Yellow wire for battery voltage when ignition switch is turned to START position. If battery voltage does not exist on Yellow wire, replace ignition switch.
