EGR Temperature Sensor (California)
- Remove EGR temperature sensor located below EGR valve. Place sensing portion of exhaust gas temperature sensor in water.
- Gradually heat water and read resistance values across terminals. See TESTING EGR TEMPERATURE SENSOR table. Replace exhaust gas temperature sensor if resistance is not within specification.
