Crank Angle Sensor (2.0L): Installation

1. To install crank angle sensor, reverse removal procedure. Go to step 3). If crank angle sensor reference mark was not made as described in removal procedure, go to next step.
2. Turn crankshaft so that No. 1 cylinder is at TDC. Align punch mark on crank angle sensor housing with notch in plate. See Fig 1 . Install crank angle sensor on cylinder head.
3. Adjust ignition timing. See appropriate ADJUSTMENTS article. Torque crank angle sensor hold-down bolt to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  in this article.
