Fuel Tank Sending Unit Resistance Test

Remove fuel tank sending unit from fuel tank. Measure resistance with fuel float in full and empty positions. Compare resistance reading to FUEL TANK SENDING UNIT RESISTANCE SPECIFICATIONS  . If not to specifications, replace fuel tank gauge.
